High-Grade Materials
S3 uses only the highest quality materials for our equipment cases. Our protective hard cases are manufactured using ABS, a relatively low-cost plastic that nonetheless has stellar impact resistance. It is also very readily thermoformed or machined making it perfect for customization. Our clear cases are manufactured from medical grade polycarbonate, which has both optical level clarity and impact resistance comparable to ABS. All our cases are held together by high-quality corrosion resistant steel hardware. In addition to the impact-resistant outer shell, our cases can be lined with custom cut foam to keep delicate materials safe. We use high-quality open cell 1lb-6lb polyurethane or closed cell 2lb-6lb polyethylene foams.
Features & Customization
Our cases come with a water and dust resistant seal in addition to the impact resistant exterior and foam insert. They will maintain positive compression so that when you close them, they will stay closed regardless of how rough and tumble the journey may be. Besides these basic features, our cases are also customizable for different applications. For instance, the foam insert in our larger boxes is pre-scored pick and pluck foam, allowing you to customize it on your own.
